Description

For sale is this very rare original 1957 Soundtrack 3 record set from the Walt Disney classic FANTASIA. The set contains 3 vinyl records with all of the classical music conducted by Leopold Stokowski with the Philadelphia Orchestra. Set also contains a very beautiful program insert describing each performed work and animated by the same artists who worked on the movie's production. What is so unique about the album is that it has been signed by many of the principal celebrities who were involved in the making of this classic film. Cover is signed by Walt Disney himself (his signature alone now goes for above $500), the conductor Leopold Stokowski, and two of the iconic Disney animators during the classic Disney film era - Ollie Johnston and Frank Thomas. A certificate of authenticity accompanies the record set (photo 3). This is possibly a unique item.
