Boldly Autographed & a Very Limited pressing of - A Sideman’s Journey - VINYL

Original member of The Plastic Ono Band, Klaus Voormann recorded his first and only solo offering with the help of some dignified musicians including Beatles Paul McCartney and Ringo Starr among others.

This “arty” package includes a heavy and pristine vinyl pressing that features a solid group of legendary artist to a man (or woman).

An Autograph (that is second to none as far as presentation) adorns the high quality, gatefold cover showing all the very familiar faces who contributed to this recording.

A high quality poster (measuring just a bit under 3’ X 3’) is included and can be found in a six panel fold within the second opening of the gatefold sleeve with the first opening housing the vinyl.

Really terrific all around packaging from maybe the most famous “infamous” musician of all time. A close friend of all four Beatles who was with them from the earlier days (as I’m sure you are aware). Tremendously underrated artist musically speaking. The creator of those awesome opening bars of “You’re So Vein”, he compiled a list of achievements that dwarfs so many better known rockers yet remains humble and in the shadows by choice.

Speaking in regards to his drawings and artwork (see Revolver cover art among many other familiar album covers), it’s hanging in museums of all kinds all around the globe. A true renaissance man who allows others to judge his achievements.

This album only adds to the quiet legend of Klaus Vorrmann, John Lennon’s second favorite bass player.

Condition wise everything is new and mint and will be sent within the pictured plastic outer sleeve. Instead of a “hype” sticker I’ve affixed an additional ‘Voormann’ signature written to satisfy customs when this signed album was sent to me along with his return address .

Selling a big part of my personal collection accrued over 5 decades. Will be listing a few auctions/items weekly. Some very rare BEATLES items among MANY OTHER artists. Please check in from time to time and see what Rarities and Odd pressings I’ve listed from this extensive collection.
