Description
This is an autographed 1970 pressing of the Paisleys psychedelic LP Cosmic Mind At Play. The Paisleys recorded and produced this album at Audio City Recording Studios on East Lake Street in Minneapolis. The original recording, in 1970, was issued on this Peace 944 S-2809 red record label. This album is considered a psychedelic cult classic. It is the only album the Paisleys made. This album is autographed by both of the founding members, Richard (Dick) Timm and Wm (Bill) Smith. Since only two thousand copies were made and the band broke up after the album was released, an Autographed Copy is super rare. I got this one years ago in Minneapolis (where I am from). The cover has no seam splits and no writing on it except for the autographs. There is a piece of tape on the cover which can be seen on the front cover (5th picture) by the planet. The tape can be seen on the back cover on the left side under the word "Wind". The tape isn't real noticeable, and I wouldn't want to attempt to remove it. The red record labels are clean on both sides. The vinyl on Side 1 has some scuff marks and scratches. The record plays through with no skipping, but these marks can be heard when playing the record. Side 2 has some lighter scratches. Some of them can be heard also. Over all, the record was played very little, and overlooking the clicks, it has good sound. The scuff marks on Side 1 can be seen on the 9th and 10th pictures. Zoom in on the spindle holes and you can see how they have almost no wear. It is impossible to put a value on something this rare, so I will start the auction at 99 cents with no reserve and let it ride. Thanks and good luck!
