Autopsy 'Severed Survival' LP 1990 Peaceville (Nihilist Dismember Death). Condition is "Used". Shipped with USPS Parcel Select Ground. *the disc has a nasty scuff/scratch on Side A (through the first 30 seconds of the first track Charred Remains) so be aware of this before purchasing (see pic). There are a few ticks and pops throughout the album but nothing too annoying besides the the first 30 seconds of Charred Remains (l listened to the entire record 7/3/21)...the rest of the disc is pretty good for the age of the item and this album sounds amazing on vinyl!! The cardboard sleeve has some wear (damage to corners, the paper jacket has a tear - see pics) and there is some sticker residue on the upper right corner on the Autopsy logo (see pic). **The original disc inner record-sleeve is missing unfortunetly (not sure what happened to it). This a highly sought-after item in the world of death metal collectors...so I think you'll be pretty happy showing this one off to your old-school metal friends -ha. It has been in nice dry and smoke-free storage since I purchased it 13 years ago!!
I just don't seem to get any time to listen to my vinyl collection as I record my own music and am looking to downsize for a smaller house (I have a reissue cd of this album...so that works for me -ha).
I bought this record at a local record store here in Peoria, IL around 2008 or so and actually never played it until I tested it -ha. Someone had traded in their Autopsy records back in the mid or late 90s (I remember my friend asking the counter guy to play 'Mental Funeral' on the store's stereo system back in the summer of 1998). They also had the rare 'In The Grip of Winter' 12" which a local metal friend picked up later but those records sat around for 15 years as vinyl was an obsolete format in those years (how things change -ha).
