Description

This record is part of a collection I bought years ago that had belonged to "Walkin' Talkin' Bill Hawkins" He was the first black disc jockey in Cleveland Ohio in the early 50s. In fact he may have been one of the first in the U.S. that had been playing R & B records on the radio at that time. He owned a record store on East 105th street and broadcast from the window of his store, From what I'm told crowds of people would gather outside to watch him as he did his show.
