As we grade the cover and record separately, we use our own grading system as below.
We aim to give you a frank and honest appraisal of the record and cover condition, so we do not grade higher than Excellent as we feel that unlike CD's, no record can ever be truly be called perfect.
All records are removed from the paper sleeve for safe transport prior to shipping.

FAIR+ (fr+) The record is easily playable but will have significant scratches and/or minor clicks may be heard when playing. There may be some personal inscription on the label. There may be significant warping. The cover or any inserts have serious signs of wear, creasing and/or ring wear and scuffing or minor tears. There are no personal inscriptions. FAIR (fr) The record is just about playable but will have deep scratches, clicks can be heard when playing, it may even jump. There may be some personal inscription on the label. There may be significant warping. The cover or any inserts have serious signs of wear, creasing and/or ring wear and scuffing or minor tears. There may be personal inscriptions.
