Baby Face Leroy Trio - Rollin' and Tumblin' Parts 1 and 2 on Parkway 501. Pictures show the condition of the labels and I have played the record and would grade it a strong V-.The record is visually quite clean with no bad looking scratches but the gloss is all gone and it has a dull finish associated with wear. It plays through fine on both sides with surface noise in line with with the way it looks. The use of a standard filter or just slightly reducing the treble level improves the playing quality. I recently purchased this record in the hope it would be a better grade than the other copies I have but it plays about the same so I am moving it on as not much point in having 3 copies all in the same grade.
Very rare and very desirable classic Chicago Blues realistically priced for the grade. A better copy would be nice but is going to cost several times more even if you get the chance to pick one up so here is a perfectly decent copy to fill that gap in any serious blues collection.
