BABYMETAL
BABYMETAL is a Japanese girl metal unit, consisting of two members, SU-METAL and MOAMETAL. Formed in 2010, they made their major debut in 2013 with the single “Ijime, Dame, Zettai. Since then, they have been the talk of the town both in Japan and abroad, with their second album “METAL RESISTANCE” reaching the U.S. Top 40 and becoming the first Japanese band to perform at Wembley Arena in the U.K. alone. In October 2018, the band transitioned to its current two-member lineup. The following year, their third album “METAL GALAXY” reached No. 13 in the U.S. and No. 19 in the U.K. In December 2020, they released their 10th anniversary best album “10 BABYMETAL YEARS” and made their first appearance at the Kohaku Uta Gassen later that year.
