Description
Von Karajan leads the Berlin Philharmonic, the Vienna Choir, Choir of the Dresden Opera, and the Domchorus Berlin, along with principal singers Schreier, Fischer-Dieskau, Janowitz, Ludwig, Lubenthal, Berry, and Diakov in a sperlative, authentic performance of the towering Masterwork the St Matthew's passion. Immense forces were gathered for this recording.
The condition of the vinyl is Near Mint, glossy surfaces, no scuffs, scratches or spindle marks that I can see. Each disc in a protective poly sleeve. See Photos
The slipcase is in Excellent condition with some minor shelf wear on the corners. It is very heavily constructed and near bullet proof. See Photos
The inlay is also Excellent with some small signs of use, but is bright, clean and complete. See Photos It contains the text in the original German and the English and French translations.
