Description
Would make a fantastic Christmas gift!
Up for auction is a rare sealed copy of the self-titled debut album Bad Company, originally released in the U.S. on Swan Song Records (SS 8501) in 1974:
-Guaranteed original pressing, NOT recent reissue -Still factory sealed -Original factory hype stickers -Original gatefold cover -NO UPC/bar code on cover
Note: This album is considered by many to be one of the greatest hard rock records of the 1970s--certainly one of the greatest debut albums ever recorded. An absolute milestone that Bad Company never improved upon.
Condition: Cover looks great, still factory sealed. Has small factory punch hole in upper left corner. Shrink is in nice shape, no tears or damage or age yellowing or significant ring wear. Looks pretty clean. Has one small separation along right seam about an inch or two (see photo). Has correct factory breath holes, showing that this has never been opened and resealed. Grade: Near Mint (NM)
Vinyl is presumed to be Mint.
NOTE:
I do not accept returns on sealed albums once they have been opened. This is standard policy for the vintage record industry. It is understood that the value of sealed records is largely from being sealed.
Combined Shipping:
Yes, I offer significant combined shipping discounts. Just ask!
International Shipping:
Because of unreliable postal services, buyers in France and Italy must pay for Expedited international shipping, which includes tracking and insurance. I've had too many records lost or damaged shipping to these countries. Also, I do not ship to Central or South America, or China.
How I Pack Your Records:
I remove the records with inner sleeves from the covers prior to packing. I sandwich the record between two pieces of cardboard for padding and protection. I also reinforce the corners of the shipping box to protect the corners of the record jacket from damage.
100% satisfaction guaranteed, no risk buying. My 100% positive feedback allows you to buy with confidence. Returns accepted, no questions asked.
About Me: -I have been a record collector for over 40 years and a seller on eBay for over 20 years.
-I consider myself a professional, not someone who is selling records he found at a garage sale like many on eBay.
-I try to grade accurately -- beware of sellers who claim they grade "conservatively" -- rarely is that the case.
-I don't just give a record a grade, but I also explain why I give it the grade that I do. -I explain why I describe a record as "original" or a "first pressing" -- most records on sold on eBay as original are NOT. -I visually grade my records, and sometimes spot-test them for audio quality -- I can't listen to them all the way through. -Every stereo system is different, and what sounds good on mine may not sound good on yours. If so, return it. -Every seller makes mistakes not matter how much experience they have -- record selling is NOT a perfect science. -If I make a mistake, or the record isn't what you expected, return it for a full refund -- and I will pay for return shipping. -I have 100% positive feedback for a reason -- and I strive to keep it that way by being accurate about what I sell.
