Description

  • Bad Company released their second studio album "Straight Shooter" in April 1975 on Led Zeppelin's custom imprint Swan Song Records. It went on to sell millions of copies and reached No. 3 on the album charts in both the U.S. and U.K.  Hit singles include "Good Lovin' Gone Bad" and "Feel Like Makin' Love." It was recorded by Ron Nevison at Ronnie Lane's mobile studio at Clearwell Castle in Gloucestershire, England.

  • This copy of (SS 8413) is from the First Pressing and is in excellent condition. The cover still has its original Factory Shrink Wrap and only shows the slightest wear and is in Near-Mint condition as is the original color card stock inner sleeve. Please see the pictures. The disc test plays cleanly and is VG+ which is as high as I go on vintage vinyl. It was mastered at The Mastering Lab (TML) in Los Angeles and this copy was pressed by Presswell Records Mfg. Co. in Ancora, NJ.  The Side One dead wax is etched ST-SS 753227B TML-S PR CO. SM 0 except for TML-S which is stamped.

  • In addition to its original packaging, this album will come with a high quality Anti-Static Round Bottom Inner Sleeve to hold the vinyl disc and a sturdy 3 mil. polyethylene Archival Quality Outer Sleeve.

  • Free shipping is included in the special corrugated album mailer seen in the last picture.

  • This vintage 12" vinyl album has been sitting upright on a shelf in climate controlled storage for the past 46 years. It has not been played in decades other than a quick test spin for this sale which found no skips or obvious flaws. Like all used records it should be cleaned and wiped with an anti-static brush to minimize the occasional pops that are part of playing vinyl albums. Buyers should note that this is a well-cared for but used record and it will have some minor imperfections.
