Description

UK DEMONSTRATION NOT FOR SALE VINYL LP IN LAMINATED SLEEVE. This is a rare Apple/Beatles-related item, we have only ever seen a promo copy of this album once before, and it is cut by the great George Peckham. The mothers/stampers indicate this is the very first pressing off the very first masters of this album.

MATRIX NUMBERS IN RUN-OFF GROOVES: SIDE A: SAPCOR 19 A-1U PORKY / SIDE B: SAPCOR 19 B-1U PECKO

MOTHER No. SIDE A: 1 / SIDE B: 1

STAMPER No. SIDE A: G / SIDE B: G

SLEEVE: VERY GOOD ONLY, DUE TO SHELF AND EDGE WEAR, CREASING AND GENERAL 'USED' LOOK - IT IS COMPLETE AND HAS NO DAMAGED SEAMS OR WRITING ON IT.

DISC: VERY GOOD. BOTH SIDES PLAY AND SOUND REALLY GOOD WITH NO SKIPS OR JUMPS, BUT THERE ARE SOME LIGHT SURFACE SCRATCHES AND HAIRLINES ALONGSIDE SOME SPINDLE WEAR. CLEARLY THIS DISC HAS BEEN PLAYED BUT IT IS STILL A VERY GOOD PLAYING COPY. SOME OF THE QUIETEST PASSAGES HAVE CLICKS, BUT NOTHING THAT WE THOUGHT TOO OBTRUSIVE. A VERY POWERFULL DEEPLY PRESSED EMI VINYL THAT ACTUALLY PLAYS AND SOUNDS BETTER THAN IT LOOKS, AS CAN OFTEN BE THE CASE WITH QUALITY PRESSINGS OF THIS ERA.
