This is the UK 1st Press of 'Straight Up' by Badfinger. The 1st press is complete with the earliest A-1U/B-1U matrix, Porky and Pecko handwritten in the runout, dark green Apple labels and Garrod & Lofthouse laminated sleeve.
The record is in Very Good condition. The vinyl has a sensational bright gloss, with a couple of marks on Side 1 and a few light marks on Side 2. On playing the voices are sharp and the instrumentals are warm, bold and clear. There is a little occasional background noise and a few clicks on the mark. The label is completely clean with bright green and sharp text. There is only the slightest spindle wear.
The Garrod & Lofthouse laminated sleeve is in Very Good+ condition. The laminate has a superb mirrorlike shine and the colours are bold. There is some light corner and ring wear and a few laminate creases. The 1st press pinched spine is firm with clear text and the whole sleeve feels solid.
