Description

BAM LD 055 -- Mozart, Four Quartets for Flute and Strings. Jean-Pierre Rampal and the Trio Pasquier. Original first red and white label.  My best guess is that this disc had never been played before I spot checked it; it looks Mint with beautiful spotless glossy surfaces.  I'll say that it plays NM, because there is a slight bit of surface noise (a few light tics and pops); I suspect that this noise was inherent in the original pressing and not the result of any subsequent playing. Cover is NM, in beautiful fresh-looking glossy condition.  I believe that the inner sleeve (a rounded plastic sleeve with an unusual tab moulded in to make removing the LP easier) is original.

All Records play-graded on a Townshend Rock Mk III turntable with OL-modified Rega arm and Benz M2 cartridge.  I work very hard to make sure my grading is accurate.  Please go to my ebay feedback and scroll down to see multiple positive comments about my previous record auctions.  I will offer a 7-day money-back guarantee (excluding return shipping) if you are not completely satisfied with condition of this item.

High bidder will pay $4 for USPS Media Mail domestic shipping including delivery confirmation (or, at your option, $10 for Priority Mail domestic shipping including insurance). International shipping will be via US Postal Service First Class Mail International Package; rates will be approximately $17 to Western Europe and Asia; please email me for exact cost to a specific destination.  Record will be shipped in a Bags Unlimited LP mailer, double boxed inside a second box.  Record will be removed from original cover and packed separately in a junk album cover to avoid the possibility of damaging the original cover.

There is no reserve on this item, and there is no 'Buy It Now' price. Payment must be made within 3 days of the completion of the auction, and I will ship within 24 hours of receiving payment. Please contact me if you have any questions. Thank you!

Please check my other auctions for other audiophile and rare records. I will  happily combine shipping if you purchase multiple items (I will charge $1.00 for each additional LP for domestic shipping, $2 for each additional LP for international shipping.)

GRADING STANDARDS:

Mint - Never played prior to grading with perfect dead quiet surfaces.  Sealed records are not necessarily mint, since they may have been manufactured with pressing defects or poor-quality vinyl formulations.  I almost never give this grade.

Near Mint NM -- Record has been previously played, but sounds as new.  A tiny bit of surface noise and/or a few light tics or pops are acceptable if these were likely present in the record when it was originally manufactured.  No scuffs, scratches, or other visual marks.

Excellent EX -- Record shows some signs of wear, with light surface noise and/or some tics and pops and/or a scratch which sounds very briefly and quietly.  These flaws are sufficiently minor that the do not distract from the music.  Visually, there may be some light scuffing and/or one or two short light scratches

Very Good+ VG+ -- Record shows signs of wear, with light surface noise and/or some tics and pops and/or a scratch which sounds briefly.  These flaws are sufficient to occasionally distract from the music, but note that the record is completely playable and will still provide a great deal of listening pleasure. Visually, there may be some scuffing and a few light scratches.

I generally do no sell records that grade below VG+
