BANDOLERO-Self Titled. Original TRUTH ( green ) Label LPT-01 , year 1970. Outasight fusion of Puertorrican Psychedelic Freak Latin Salsa Soul Rock music!!! Cover in Very Good condition , nevertheless have transparent tape to avoid split. Vinyl in Very Good+++ condition. Their only recording , very hard to find vinyl , specially ORIGINAL and in this ( Very Good+++ ) conditions. You can hear Jose Nogueras ( later and until now a famous latin salsa folk singer ) singing in english , except for one romantic spanish psych ballad song , " Ternura " , and screaming in the other english songs , in spanish , to their partners musicians and to the listenners : Oye " Maelo " ! ( to Ismael , the organist player ) ; Oye Loco,puntealo ! ( to the guitarrist ) ; Oye mira voy pa' la charca a gozar ! ; Oye mira negrita sabrosa ! ; Por eso te digo que vivas sintiendo ! and other outasight spanish phrases. What a phenomenal trip !!! Jose Nogueras , please forgive me , but the most formidable recording in your life was the BANDOLERO Psych Freak Latin Soul Rock session. No doubt about it !!! For us , the always psych fans , BANDOLERO it's like the american liver that save our ears and feelings !!! And I really want to know who was the non-sense Apple executive that in1971 invited BANDOLERO to New York Apple Studios and when the group arrived from Puerto Rico , he simply dissappeared !!! With no money in their pockets , The BANDOLERO members returned to his nation , Puerto Rico , frustated !!! They split , NO MORE BANDOLERO !!!
