Description

RADIO SHOW TRANSCRIPTION DISC FROM THE ARMED FORCES RADIO & TELEVISION SERVICE.   TWO COMPLETE RADIO PROGRAMS ON THIS 16 INCH, VINYL, 33 1/3 RPM DISC.  THIS DISC WAS ISSUED TO ARMED FORCES RADIO STATIONS FOR BROADCAST TO U. S. TROOPS AND NOT AVAILABLE TO THE GENERAL PUBLIC.  VERY RARE!   

"Bandstand USA" radio program #11 from January 10, 1958.  Program is hosted by Guy Wallace and features two live remote broadcasts.  Paul Quinichette Quintet from The Cafe Bohemia in Grenich Village, New York City featuring Buck Clayton - the songs were not announced and I wasn't able to identify them.  Bobby Hackett from The Voyager Room of The Henry Hudson Hotel in New York City with the songs "Time Roof Blues", "Park & Madison" (composed by Pinie Caceres), "Lazy Mood" (personnel includes Johnny Dengler: tuba, Pinie Caceres: piano, Bob Wilbur: clarinet, Ernie Caceres: clarinet/saxophone, Buzzy Drootin: drums  AN EXCELLENT LIVE JAZZ PROGRAM!   30 minutes

"Mystery Time" radio program #59 from January 10, 1957 titled "The Horla" starring Roger DeKoven and hosted by Don Dowd.  An Excellent Mystery Program!  25 minutes

 Disc is in Very Good+ to Excellent- Condition with Excellent- or better sound, Beautiful Disc!   

Due to their size, 16 inch discs will not play on most standard turntables.   For $10 I can include a CD transfer of the entire disc for the buyer
