'Music'

Capitol, USA, 1973

ST 11190

REVERRED OBSCURE power trio now reduced to just two members with guests like future Knack drummer Bruce Gary and Silver Metre keyboardist Pete Sears. Musically its a lot more restrained than their previous two albums, preferring to tread lightly and melodically rather than swinging hammers around their heads. The main thrust is still hard rock however even if its not quite as manic as their previous two albums - I would say closer comparisons to this version of the band would be the James Gang during their latter years, mid period Grand Funk Railroad and Brownsville Station.

Pressing: Capitol, USA, 1973

Vinyl: Nice clean condition. One lone spindle mark and just light signs of storage dust. Grades as MINT-!

Cover: Minor signs of wear (again, it actually looks uncirculated). Issued in a beautifully designed cover - retains printers bloom. Sharp corners (two dings), no bends, no ring wear, no split seams and some minor creases. Spine is stiff, square and totally uncrushed. Impossible to find like this after 43 years. Grades as Ex

Inserts: Printed inner sleeve

Matrix:

1st Pressing

Side One: 1 - 11190 - F - 3

Side Two: 2 - 11190 - F - 3
