We play through most of the records, unless the item is clearly mint, or sealed..in which case we don't play them, thus maintaining their 'unplayed' status!  Obviously with some of these rare items there will be the odd 'anomoly' along the way , the odd little static pop or lead in 'sizzle' for a split second.. nothing is perfect we find! all systems differ, but we aim to describe these as accurately as possible for you.... PLEASE ENJOY THIS ITEM YOU ARE NOW LOOKING AT..

1st A1U B1U HARVEST  'GRAMOPHONE CREDIT' PRESSING- RARE LAMINATED SLEEVE

An outstanding 'ARCHIVED' example of this very collectable classic LP. Stunning clean vinyl and top sleeve

THE VINYL   MINT- PRISITNE ONE PLAY ONLY

As you can see, this vinyl is the highly prized 1st EARLIEST  UK pressing with the  1U matrix numbers on each side, confirming this is a FIRST 1972  pressing.

ALSO NOTED- The Gramophone credits around the edge of the labels, later presses had 'EMI' WHEN they changed the design in and around 1973 onwards

This first pressing is a superb vinyl which has retained its amazing glossy sheen and finish. There is no dulling anywhere and overall it is in incredible condition for an LP of this age. The edges are silky smooth, typical of these vintage HARVEST pressings. We rarely see copies of this LP at all, let alone like this.

The centre hole shows ONE skate line, AND the holes remain tight.

Under a very bright light you can see there are a few tiny light whisp lines and ONE very feint hairline, no scratches or marks that spoil the play. This particular pressing we are told was subject to many copies being riddled with defects and sound problems..this copy looks like brand new, and we only heard a couple of little static pops along the way.. nothing caused by wear or damage.. it soundes stunning and rich as you would expect.

 Rraely do we see these Harvest vinyls quite like this..it is easily the best example of this LP we have seen..a real beauty.

THE LABELS   MINT    Both are superb condition, original matt labels with no damage or writing

THE SLEEVE     EX+   

Correct LAMINATED  first issued earliest sleeve. Later presses were unlaminated

This whole sleeve is in SUPERB condition with very little signs of wear 

The edges are all super clean with only SOME LIGHT TIP RUB on the opene edge corners where the lamination stops short.

All colours and inks remain in outstanding condition like new!!!

The lamination is gleaming like a mirror and there is no bubbling  -There is a slight 'ripple' on the openeing edge of the sleeve and some very light ring press.

Just a couple of little spider lines over the edges. The spine edge is totally unmarked and all legends are perfectly readable, just a couple of tiny spider lines over the edge

The spine is totally white, with the credits being printed on the top and bottom of the sleeve- we assume this was done in error and rectified on later copies as far as we know.

WE CLARIFY BY SAYING, THIS SLEEVE IS SUPERB QUALITY. AND THESE LAMINATE SLEEVES ARE BECOMING VERY HARD TO FIND.

THE INNER SLEEVE   EX+ STRONG

Textured card printed inner sleeve with  thumb groove - Some light ring rub on the white side - the black side is perfect!
