This is a UK 1st Press of ‘Once Again’ by Barclay James Harvest. This press is complete with the earliest NO EMI BOX green Harvest label, the original laminated gatefold Garrod & Lofthouse sleeve, the earliest SHVL 788 A-1 / B-1 matrix and the original EMI inner sleeve.
The record is in Excellent condition. The vinyl is extremely glossy and bright, it has only been played a few times. There are a couple of wispy light marks but these are insignificant, every track looks superb. The label is clean and bright. The colours are vivid and there is only the slightest spindle wear.
When played the sound is extremely bold and clear, with moments of slight noise but certainly nothing that spoils the enjoyment of this album at any point. It is rich and vibrant from start to finish.
The record is complete with the original Harvest inner sleeve.
The gatefold sleeve is in Excellent condition. The black is solid, the colours are vivid and the images are sharp. The laminate has a superb mirrored finish, very glossy. There is just the slightest edge wear. The inside is very clean with just a few small marks. The spine is very firm and the whole cover still feels exceptionally solid.
