Description
ANTONIN DVORAK -
Symphony #9 ("From the New World")
Sir Colin Davis/Amsterdam Concertgebouw Orchestra
Barclay Crocker / Philips PHIx 9500 511
4-track; 7 1/2 ips; dbx II encoded - requires decoder to play
Beginning in November/December 1984, Barclay-Crocker began issuing all of its new releases with dbx-II encoding. This tape was one of that initial releases of eight dbx tapes. Since Barclay-Crocker went out of business only a year and a half later, in the summer of 1986, it is not surprising that these dbx issues are among the scarcest of the Barclay-Crocker tapes: there were only 177 copies duplicated of this tape.
This tape and its box are in like-new condition.
