Description
Record is VG++. There are no scratches, scuffs, chips or cracks. Record still has gloss and there are no spindle marks. Plays with light surface 78 noise but no clicks, pops or skips.
It will be tough to find a nicer copy.
Early 40s date for Mingus. Done when the heavies had names like the King, Count and Duke, Mingus temporarily went by "Baron." These early 40s sides mostly find him in a ducal mood playing tribute to and trying to surpass his main influence.
I'm listing some other 4 Stars this week.
My grading scale is: sealed/NM/VG/G with one or two plus or minus marks as appropriate. However, I think all that is pretty subjective so I try and describe what I hear and see and leave the alphabet up to the buyer.
Buyers wishing insurance should contact me promptly. Buyers outside the lower 48 of the United States should await an invoice.
INTERNATIONAL BUYERS are responsible for all customs, taxes etc. etc. No tracking on international shipments. Buyer bears loss for uninsured packages lost by carriers. Thanks
