THE BARONS-45-“Come To Me” b/w “Only The Young”-Monocle Records #MO-001-Cool & Moody 1967 San Antonio TEXAS Garage-Punk. Don’t remember seeing this on any comps that I can recall –A side is moody Vox Continental organ dominated with somewhat guttural but monotone lead vocal; great Fender-Reverb surf-like lead guitar break…B side is penned by Jimmy Seals-cool moody almost SURF guitar dominated instrumental with a droning Vox Continental in the mix…One of many bands called the Barons-nothing to do with John Nitzinger’s band or any other bands with this name-this is their sole release.
Condition: Record close to MINT-Minus…some background noise evident, particularly on the B side-due to pressing, not condition.
