Description

You are bidding on "Speaking The Truth" and "A Stump Speech In The 10th District" by BASCOM LUNSFORD on Columbia 15595-D recorded April 15, 1930.

The record comes with the somewhat rough Columbia sleeve. I don't know if it is the correct sleeve, but the last copyright is 1928, so it may be.  I'll also include a new clean sleeve if you want one.

Bascom Lamar Lunsford (March 21, 1882 - September 4, 1973) was a lawyer, folklorist, and performer of traditional country and folk music from western North Carolina.  He was often known by the nickname "Minstrel of the Appalachians".

Condition: Probably VG+. "Speaking" has one scratch and looks nearly perfect;  "Stump Speech" has several scratches. Both sides play just fine. No music, just lectures.

I am getting up in years and am selling my small collection, as my children and grandchildren are not interested.

Please bid with confidence, if you are not happy with any record, return it for a refund. I want my customers to be happy with their purchase

If buying more than one record, please do not pay until I have sent an invoice.

Be sure to check out my other 78 RPM RECORDS!

I will mail your record the day after payment is received if humanly possible. The weather (floods, tornadoes, ice storms and snow storms), Postal Service holidays and Sundays can delay shipping.

If for any reason you are not happy with your purchase, or feel that you cannot leave a rating of 5 in all areas, please contact me before leaving feedback.  I want to have happy customers!
