VARIOUS-PUNK & NEW WAVE Battle Of The Bands
Doublepack - First Pressing (Rare 1978 Irish numbered limited edition white paper sleeve 7"" vinyl doublepack featuring four bands; Spider Outcasts Rudi and Idiots. Wow! what a fantastic artefact this is - released on the legendary Terry Hooleys Good Vibrations imprint [which grew out of the Belfast record shop he owned] as a means to showcase to the wider world the Irish punk inspired music scene....
so whats it like? Its four short sharp blastsof snot-nosed amateurism and teenage rebellion that have lost none of their bite over the years and still sound fantastic.
The thin paper wrap around sleeve does have some
creasing and rips (which can be seen in the pictures) but is all intact.
The two discs have a few light wispy marks where they have been removed from thier sleeves but there is only very minimal evidence of play making this double pack [number 0992 of 2500] not only a genuine collectors item but an absolute must for the punk connoisseur
