BDF ELEKTRO / SOOTHSAYER HORNS
Ital Warrior Rhythm Shower Part 1
Ital Counsellor
12" Cat: IC 007Rel: 22 Sep 25
Dub Side 1 - Track 1. Silence In Sudan Side 1 - Track 2. Fire In A Rafah Side 2 - Track 1. Bombs Over Kyiv Side 2 - Track 2. Taiwan Biding Time
Ital Counselor's seventh transmission is a progressive electro-roots trip for turbulent times. With four tracks dedicated to the troubled lands of Sudan, Palestine, Ukraine and Taiwan, it fuses socially conscious purpose with some damn fine rhythm. Inyaki Basque Dub Foundation delivers drum-and-bass workouts reminiscent of Sly & Robbie's Compass Point era, while James Zugati's mixing ensures every beat hits hard. Side two's dubwise cuts rattle bass bins and demand movement, all anchored by the razor-sharp, commanding Soothsayer horns. This is a rousing, empowering sonic manifesto of resilience that seeks to inspire forward motion through crisis.
