157g 12" black vinyl, with first pressing -1 -1 matrix number endings and 2 and 1 stampers, first issue rainbow rim black paper labels with KT tax stamper, plain white 'Made in England' paper inner sleeve, and first issue front-laminated Garrod & Lofthouse flipback outer sleeve.

Rather wonderfully, this iconic record also comes with its original sales receipt for £1.12/- from Sydney Scarborough of Hull, England, dated 9 July 1966.

CONDITION:

VINYL EXCELLENT The heavyweight vinyl is beautifully clean and bright with some signs of play and a few very light scratches. The sound reproduction also play grades as EXCELLENT throughout, with a couple of light pops at the very beginning of Side One. Both paper labels are clean with typical spindle lines.

INNER SLEEVE EXCELLENT The plain white inner sleeve has typical creasing with no folds or seam splits.

PLEASE NOTE that along with the original inner sleeve, the record will be dispatched in a new polylined inner bag.

SLEEVE EXCELLENT+ The front-laminated Garrod & Lofthouse sleeve has a clean front cover with bright original colours and some half moon creasing. The unlaminated white back cover has minimal discolouration for a 46 year old sleeve, whilst the flipbacks are strong and complete.

SALES RECEIPT EXCELLENT The 95mm x 155mm white paper slip has presumably been safely tucked inside the record sleeve for 46 years as it shows only light signs of handling.

This record will be removed from its outer sleeve to avoid seam splits during transit. Vinyl and sleeve will be dispatched within a plastic sleeve, carefully packed WITH TWO CARDBOARD STIFFENERS and posted in strong, good quality cardboard packaging. Please try to recycle the packing cardboard if possible - it might just help to offset the damage done when it was originally manufactured. Alternatively, throw it away and set fire to a couple of old tyres.
