this is my cherished copy of "pet sounds" the original mono pressing on Capitol (T 2458). it has been cherished since the day it was purchased new, has always been in a protective sleave that seals so that it really hasn't gotten very much wear at all. visually, i would grade the vinyl as Very Good ++ under a strict and conservative goldmine standard. there are a few very light, faint scuffs in a few places. there is no deep scuffing or scratching. i played this once to test it on my hifi system and it sounds perfect. the sleeve is a strong Near Mint: no rubbing around the ring, no rubbing at the corners. there are two very faint rubs on the right edge (opening), but one has to look very closely to see them.

I'm adding 4 photos due to some really good questions about the sleeve. The First Two pictures are enlarged photos of the front and back of sleeve. you can see that there is no fading or yellowing
The Third Image is of a small water spot that i hadn't noticed before. i included Brian's head and the picture to give you an idea of how small it is. if you look in the second photo, you can see it faintly in the upper left corner. finally, there is, at the upper right corner, just a touch of bending and a lightly rubbed corner. otherwise this sleeve is like it was the day it was sent out from the factory.
