PLEASE NOTE: I WILL ONLY GRADE AN OPENED LP NEAR MINT (NM) IF I CAN GUARANTEE IT HAS NEVER BEEN PLAYED (i.e. I AM THE ORIGINAL OWNER). OTHERWISE, NEAR MINT MINUS (NM-) IS THE ABSOLUTE HIGHEST GRADE I WILL ASSIGN AN OPENED LP
WILDLY RARE original Howie Weinberg mastered Carrollton gatefold first pressing of this stone golden age classic from 1986 on Def Jam/Columbia with FC 40238 catalog number on the spine, C 40238 on the label, DMM (Direct Metal Mastering) dead wax etching, 666 etched in a triangle on side A, the B in BICK etched on side A is actually a D with a loop added on top of it, original printed inner sleeve and original oversized hype sticker on the front cover with complete track listing!!! A version without the DMM designation exists but this pressing is MUCH rarer. LP side 2 is a beautiful VG++ and side 1 is a gorgeous VG++/NM-. Cover is still in the original shrink wrap and beautiful as well. Even has the original $7.39 Record City (R.I.P.) price sticker on the cellophane in the top right hand corner on the front cover dated January 16, 1987! A high grade copy with impeccable provenance. THIS is what collecting is about Beastie collectors. You will not be disappointed.
