BEASTIE BOYS, LICENSED TO ILL, ORIGINAL 1986 UK DEF JAM VINYL LP, HIP HOP / ROCK
Beastie Boys – Licensed To Ill (12” LP)Beastie Boys were an American hip hop group from New York City, formed in 1981. The group was composed of Michael "Mike D" Diamond (vocals, drums), Adam "MCA" Yauch (vocals, bass), and Adam "Ad-Rock" Horovitz (vocals, guitar, programming). They were formed out of members of experimental hardcore punk band The Young Aborigines in 1978, with Diamond as vocalist, Jeremy Shatan on bass guitar, John Berry on guitar, and Kate Schellenbach on drums. When Shatan left in 1981, Yauch replaced him on bass and the band changed their name to Beastie Boys. Berry left shortly thereafter and was replaced by Horovitz.

Condition: (as Record Collector’s grading system)
Vinyl side 1: very good (has a few superficial dirty looking marks that do not affect the audio in any way, plays excellent with no sticks, skips or clicks and minimal crackle, has a bit of a warp that doesn’t affect the playback on my turntable).
Vinyl side 2: very good (has a few dirty looking marks and plays with the odd light click here and there but certainly nothing that spoils your enjoyment of the music, plays with no sticks or skips and minimal crackle, has a bit of a warp that doesn’t affect the playback on my turntable).
Cover (glossy, gatefold): excellent (the odd light indent mark, hype sticker on front).
Comes with the original inner sleeve in very good condition - has a bit of “foxing”.
I have tried to give my honest opinion as to the condition. I will give a complete refund to the buyer if they are not happy with the record.

RECORD COLLECTOR GRADING SYSTEM:
MINT: I very rarely use the mint grade. Only records that are still sealed or records that even under the strongest of lights are completely unmarked. Also covers that are unmarked/uncreased in any way and still look brand new.
EXCELLENT: The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is no lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing.
VERY GOOD: The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable.
GOOD: The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discoloration, etc.
FAIR: The record is still just playable but has not been cared for properly and displays considerable surface noise; it may even jump. The cover and contents will be torn, stained and/or defaced.
POOR: The record will not play properly due to scratches, bad surface noise, etc. The cover and contents will be badly damaged or partly missing.
