For sale is My coveted 1986 Original Master-disc cut, 1st pressing LP of
The Beastie Boys License to Ill. My asking price reflects the condition. Can you find cheaper ones? Sure, but they arent as nice. So, if you want a collector condition 1st pressing, this it it. (which you can tell by the wear on the hole, in this case, there isnt any), put it back in case, and back on shelf. I am moving soon and its time to thin out the herd. For serious collectors only. Feel free to make a "reasonable" offer if your interested. I had considered sending this out to have it autographed as Ad-Rock offers autos on items sent to him if you provide paid postage and materials for return. He states he needs 90days or less. This info is easily found online. If you wanted to have a piece of hip hop history, consider this one.
This is a collectors item, and since Adam Yauch died (tragically at only age 47), this will only continue to become more coveted. By far one of the nicest on eBay. Disc is in excellent shape, so is the cover and jacket. Super nice collector piece of hip hop history.
The matrix on the disc reads;
Side 1-Get Off My Back-45567-1A.
Side 2-Watch Your back-40238-1B.
I don't grade records as the terms have different meanings to different people.
I will say that if I were in the market for a 1st pressing, I would buy this one, no hesitations. I am a collector, so condition is important to me. But, please look at pics and form your own opinion.
I will say the cover and insert have no creases, tears, or blemishes.
The record has no visible scratches and plays perfectly, and sounds crisp.
Keep in mind this record is over 30 years old.
Please look closely at pictures and ask any and all questions prior to bidding.
