Grading Scale

Mint (perfect with no flaws - rarely use this grade because the vinyl manufacturing process is never perfect)

Near Mint (appears like-new but with a slight blemish or two; may or may not have been played)

VG + + (a few blemishes and / or a very light scratch that will not be visible under normal lighting; a well-cared for record that has been played a few times; like-new vinyl gloss)

VG + (increased number of blemishes / scuffs / very light scratches or a combination of; very good vinyl gloss)

VG (showing wear with numerous visible blemishes and scratches that will affect sound quality; some vinyl gloss; well-played)

Good (showing extreme groove wear; scratches that will cause noise; near absence of vinyl gloss; fills the collection until something better comes along)
