Description

An original UK issue on Parlophone from 1966, CGEP 62. The record was introduced as a "soundtrack" of a short film of the name "Umbarumbamba" (a meaningless title). The sound is in the "mod" vein, not so different from how The Who were sounding at the time.  Unfortunately, this copy is not in a cover, only in a plain white sleeve. Side 1 includes My Life and Better Days, Side 2 includes I Don´t Care and The Big Beat Country Dance. All the songs are by band members Gunnar Thordarson and Pétur Östlund. This is an Ex- copy. Side 1 is almost clean, with one or two minor marks but plays without the slightest surface sound. This side might be graded as Ex+. Side 2 has a stain at the very beginning, which hardly affects the sound, though. The record as a whole would still be graded as Ex-, which is a very fair grading.
