Description
Beat Of The Earth: "The Electronic Hole" 1970, USA/Radish AS0002. Disc side one is M-, while side two has a little fingertip-sized scuff mark that is lightly audible at the end of the second track/beginning of the third track, so VG+. Cover has some light wear on the front, back is M-, so VG+. On offer here is the copy of The Electronic Hole that was Phil Pearlman's personal play copy for about 30 years. It's likely the only copy that ever saw a turntable in the last century! Less than 200 copies were pressed in January 1970; you won't find one in the wild as they were never sold or distributed, just hidden away forever by the reluctant creator. This LP is totally different than their debut; it has short, skeletal garage psych tracks that sound like Stone Harbour meeting up with The Velvet Underground. Some sitar, some wicked distorted guitar, in all a very underground vibe. It couldn't have sold at the time, but if you know the story, it wasn't supposed to.

I pack/ship once a week, usually on Friday. I use sturdy cardboard boxes designed for shipping records, and I remove the disc from the cover to prevent seam splits during shipment.
