PLEASE READ FIRST!
I'm having to make this even clearer as people are still buying records I'm grading low and as a 'collection filler', and then complain about the audio quality when they try to play them. As I do not own a record player I VISUALLY GRADE my records. I cannot guarantee that discs will be click, skip and noise free (although any marks that may cause such problems will be highlighted in the description).
All photos are of the actual item on sale. I do not use stock or 'borrowed' images.

Original UK Parlophone Pressing in Decent Shape!
On offer here is an original standard copy of the Beatles debut LP 'Please Please Me' on the Parlophone label.
This is the original, standard issue on the yellow / black Parlophone label, and with the 'Recording First Published' text on the labels.
Usually, when original copies of this album come up for sale, they're pretty trashed. Beatlemania took its toll on these original discs and most were played to death, or scratched when people danced into the record player. Replacements were bought and the original discs were discarded.
This copy, however, is looking very clean and respectible for its age! Most turned up trashed but this looks like it has been very well looked after during its 55 year existance!

Day Side 1 Matrix Number XEX 421-1N Side 2 Matrix Number XEX 422-1N Side 1 Stampers 1 9 / GHL Side 2 Stampers 8 / GTA Cover Condition The cover is in VG+ condition. The sleeve is holding up very nicely for its age and has some light, general wear and tear. Front is clean with a rich colour with just a little disc impression and small, light creasing. Top and bottom seams are holding perfectly and the spine has no splits and looks perfect. The back has a little light rubbing down the mouth edge, a small light brown stain to the right of the side 2 song titles and the name Fred written at the top right in blue pen but other than that the back is very clean and respectable. Nice! Inner Sleeve Condition - Inserts Condition - Disc Condition(VISUALLY GRADED) The disc is in VG+ condition. The disc has a lovely clean shine to it with a fair amount of light finger print smudging - as I don't have a professional record cleaner I'll let the winning bidder clean those off. Overall the disc is looking very decent but there is one light scratch on side 2 that runs from track 2 to the deadwax at 3 o'clock. It's light but I can just about feel it under my fingernail. Label Condition The labels are in EX- condition. The labels are looking very clean with bright silver text. There's some light spindlewear and a little whitening around the centrehole. Nice labels!
All records have been visually graded under a strong, 125W natural light desk lamp.

All LPs will be mailed out in a strong, corrugated cardboard LP mailing box with the LP outside the sleeve and extra
sheets of corrugated cardboard will be used where applicable.
My Vinyl Grading:
MINT No true preowned disc can be mint. The highest I will ever grade a disc is NM+/M- if it looks untouched and unplayed, but the MINT description will only be for records I personally know have never been played (i.e. I personally bought from new) or for copies that are still sealed. NEAR MINT (NM) For discs that look near flawless and which may have just the slightest, barely visible little whispy marks here and there. EXCELLENT (EX) For discs that still retain a brilliant, clean shine but does have some light scuffs here and there. VERY GOOD (VG) For discs that still look clean and have a nice shine to them, but do have a fair amount of light scuffmarks and/or some light scratches. GOOD (G) For discs that look like they have been loved and have a fair amount of scuffs and surface scratches. Not in terrible condition, but would look like it would play with a lot of crackle. FAIR (F) For discs that may have some life left in them but are pretty trashed with numerous surface scuffs and heavier scuffs and scratches etc POOR (P) For discs that are unplayable and look completely trashed. Discs like this would only ever be offered if they were insanely rare.price rating
