Description
First Pressing April 27th 1964 TOLLIE Records pressed at Monarch in Los Angeles.
Label printing error reads: "P.S. I Love You" on BOTH sides.
However plays Love Me Do and P.S. I Love You as it was intended.
Tollie Records was a label formed in February 1964, as a sub label of Vee-Jay,
and closed in May 1965. This label distributed some Beatles singles in the United States BEFORE Capitol Records.
First pressing version is signified by TOLLIE RECORDS written in block print on a yellow label

There is a blue line drawn by someone around the inner rim of one of the sides.
Matrix on marked side reads:
(MR) 63-3189 (R) ∆55252 X URT
Matrix flip side:
(MR) 63-3188 (R) ∆55252 URT
The Monarch MR logo is embossed inside a circle and the rest is hand etched on each.
Labels are affixed at an unusual 60° offset.
Overall vinyl is VGP condition.
Currently there are two similar available on another site in the $2000 - $3000 range.
This a very unknown, obscure, and overlooked piece of Beatles history!
