This auction is for an insanely rare JAMAICAN mono pressing of the Beatles LP 'The Beatles Second Album' on the Capitol label!

Information about the Jamaican presses is really scarce, but what is known is that they were issued in imported US Capitol sleeves and, due to the fact that Jamaica had a very small population of a couple million people, it's thought that only a very small number of discs were ever pressed! Some have even estimated that it could have been just a few thousand!

The Jamaican presses of Beatles Second Album are *impossible* to find, and I don't say that lightly. Check out Popsike for 'Beatles Second Jamaican' and you'll see that in the many years that site has been running, not a single copy has ever come up for sale! If you check out Google, only one website result comes back showing a copy of this record.

These pretty much never come up for sale! This may well be your only chance to get this record in your collection! Incredibly rare and highly collectible!!

The Cover : VG+

The cover is holding up very nicely for its age with just some light, usual wear and tear you see on these sleeves. The front cover is clean with a little rubbing in places, and has a lovely colour to it. Top seam is holding but has some light knocks and whathaveyou, but has not split or torn. The bottom seam is looking very tight with no splits or tears. The spine is fully intact with no splits and with all the text fully legible and clear. The back is clean with a touch of browning around the edges and some light wear in the black ink of the images and text. Overall, looking very nice and clean!   The Inner Sleeve : EX

The original blue '64 Capitol inner sleeve is included. It's holding up really nicely and very flat. bar a few little creases around the edges. There's a little light browning around the edges. All the seams are holding up fine. Looking very nice!
.

Disc (Visually Graded Only!!) : VG

The playing surface has a really nice shine to it. There's a fair amount of light, faint scuffing all over, along with a little slightly heavier looking scuff, but nothing at all serious though.
.

Labels : VG+

The labels are clean with bright, silver text and a lovely, rich colour. There's some light wear as you can see in the photos above along with some light spindlewear and a little whitening around the centrehole. Nice labels!.
