Description
This is the original UK LP by the BEATLES A HARD DAYS NIGHT, July 1964, 1st Press MONO on the black and yellow PARLOPHONE label PMC 1230, with "THE PARLOPHONE CO LTD" rim credits, "Recording First Published 1964" and "Sold in the UK" label credits. Matrix numbers are, SIDE 1:- XEX 481-3N, SIDE 2:- XEX 482-3N, indentifing this as a 1st Pressing, stamper codes are, SIDE 1:- 3 / RTL, SIDE 2:- 4 / RLA. The album comes complete with it's original 1964 UK "Use Emitex" die-cut inner sleeve and the RARE "Patents pending" credited Garrod and Lofthouse 1964 UK Mono 1st issue flipback cover.
The original 1964 UK 1st issue Mono Garrod and Lofthouse flipback cover with "Patents pending" credits is in EX++ condition, lovely and clean, front and back. Their is no unwanted writing and no seam splits, the maintains all it original bright vibrant colour on the front and lovely and white on the back. The white area's on the top of the cover and the flipbacks show minor yellowing / ageing, their is a TINY nick 2mm on the front, bottom right hand side 1cm up from the bottom. The spine is fully intact, showing no wear and perfectly readable.
The vinyl is in a strong EX+++ condition, gleaming with all it's original shine and lustre, I have played both sides (very carefully!) and the vinyl plays a STUNNING MINT- only a hint of very very light crackle inbetween a few of the tracks, stop this lovely vinyl from playing like a new record!. The vinyl plays with RAZOR sharp clear clarity, the quality of this RARE 1964 UK Mono 1st Pressing is BREATHTAKING!. This vinyl has not been over played, and shows only minimal signs of being played!. A WONDERFUL LISTENING EXPERIENCE, A AWESOME MONO SOUND!.
The original 1964 UK 1st Press black and yellow PARLOPHONE label's are in a STUNNING MINT- condition, lovely and clean, their is no unwanted writing and no scuffs, the spindle hole showing virtually NO wear!, only a couple of very very light spider marks around the spindle hole on both sides show that this beautiful vinyl has been played 7-10 times maximum and with great care and atttention. KT tax code is clearly embossed in the centre of side 2's label. The label's maintain all their original colour, the silver lettering is sharp, perfect, showing no wear, the yellow PARLOPHONE word on both sides is beautiful and bright and fresh, STUNNING label's!.
The vinyl is housed in it's original 1964 UK tracing paper lined "Use Emitex" die-cut inner sleeve and in EX+++ condition, lovely and clean, their is no unwanted writing and no seam splits.
Altogether a STUNNING copy of this oriignal 1964 UK Mono 1st Press LP by the BEATLES, A HARD DAYS NIGHT, AWESOME MONO SOUND!.
