Description
This is the original UK LP by The BEATLES, A HARD DAY'S NIGHT, 1964 STEREO 1st Press on the black and yellow PARLOPHONE label PCS
With 'THE PARLOPHONE CO.LTD' credits around the rim of the label
"SOLD IN THE UK" and "RECORDING FIRST PUBLISHED 1964" label credits
The album comes complete with it's original 19641st issue EMI "USE EMITEX" die-cut inner sleeve.
It's becoming very differcult to find original UK 1st Press early BEATLES STEREO Pressing's, how many Stereo Pressing were initially pressed is hard to say, but in comparison to MONO pressing (which were pressed on a massive scale), Stereo's were pressed in small quantities.
Matrix numbers are, Side 1:- YEX 126-1
Side 2:- YEX 127-1
Stamper codes are, Side 1:- 3 / RT
Side 2:- 1 / M
The original UK 1964 1st issue Garrod and Lofthouse flipback STEREO cover is in VG+++ / EX condition. The spine is super clean and perfectly readable. No unwanted writing, only one tiny 1mm seam split, bottom right hand corner, no other seam splits. The cover maintains all it's original bright vibrant colour, lovely thick quality lamination on the front, the back panel clean, no damage to the flipbacks.
The vinyl visually is in VG+ condition. Not trashed. The vinyl is gleams with all its original shine and lustre!.
The vinyl plays EX+++ / MINT-, playing with superb clarity, playing with superb depth and warmth!, great clarity!, no sound distortion, barely any crackle, if any, light in between tracks, GREAT PLAYING, QUALITY PRESSING!
The labels are in EX+++ condition, beautifully clean and fresh, no unwanted writing, no scuffs, the centre spindle hole shows only light wear, KT embossed tax code on Side 1.
The original UK 1964 1st issue EMI "USE EMITX" die-cut inner sleeve is in EX+ condition, clean, no seam splits, no unwanted writing.
