This auction is for a rare, original mono copy of the Beatles LP 'Rubber Soul' on the yellow / black Parlophone label.
Usually copies of this album turn up completely trashed but this is a very nice, respectible copy of this absolutely legendary LP!

The cover is looking really, really good. You wouldn't believe that this sleeve is 50 years old! The front cover has a beautifully rich, full colour to it with just a very light amount of rubbing on the laminate and a hint of disc impression. Usually the laminate has many creases but all I can see is a very small one just to the side of the mouth edge and two tiny ones along the bottom edge. The mouth edge, which is prone to wear and damage is still looking really sharp! Top seam is looking perfect! Bottom seam has just a very light little knock in the middle, but overall is, again, perfect. The spine is looking great (and pinched ends no less!) with no wear, creases or anything, and is fully legible. The back has creamed everso slightly but, overall, is looking really decent and clean with no rubbing, wear or stains or anything, and with just a very light browning down the mouth edge. The overflaps just have a few litle creases but are holding tight. Overall looking very, very good! Inner Sleeve: VG+
The original Emitex inner sleeve is included. It has creamed a little and has some light creasing and disc impression with a little wear along the mouthedge but, overall,. is holding up tightly with the plastic liner still stick tightly. Looking good! Disc (Visually Graded Only!!) : EX
The playing surface has a really nice, clean, crisp shine to it. There's some very light, faint scuffing in a few places but, overall, the disc is looking great for its age. Most discs turn up completely trashed but this one is looking really nice!

The labels are clean with sharp, bright silver text. There's some light spindlewear and a little whitening around the centrehole but, overall, the labels are looking really nice!
