BEATLES 1965 Mono RUBBER SOUL y/b Parlophone PMC 1267 in nice EX condition

On offer is an EXCELLENT condition The BEATLES LP entitled RUBBER SOUL released in the UK in mono on yellow-black PARLOPHONE PMC 1267 in 1965. 

This is a lovely mono RUBBER SOUL LP.The detailed description is as follows: 

v  The Garrod & Lofthouse Ltd - earliest 'Patents Pending' - laminated flip-back picture sleeve front cover - is in tremendous EX+ condition.

v  The non-laminated back cover is also in fabulous EX+ condition.

v  The spine also is in beautiful condition too. The LP title on the spine: RubberSoul – The Beatles looks amazingly new and fresh. All the edges and corners of the spine and the cover are of course intact and free of any unsightly blemishes. Indeed my wife wondered whether the LP had ever been kept outside a plastic cover – it looks so good.

v  The disc is visually in EX on Side 2 and in EX- condition on Side 1  with a beautiful sheen and clear, clean vinyl. The reason I have graded Side 1 as EX- [rather than as EX] is that there is a mark around Track 1 Drive my car – but this does not affect play.  

v  The disc sounds superb throughout.  I have just test played the disc for the first time in many years and it plays beautifully with a full dynamic range on my BOSE hi-fi. There is no noise audible between tracks which is always a good indicator of a disc that is superior to the majority of these nearly 50 years old LPs!     

v  The disc labels are in nice EX condition. There is some very minor spindle wear.

v  The matrix numbers of the disc are:  XEX 579-4 and XEX 580- 4 respectively.

v  ‘THE GRAMOPHONE CO LTD.’ text is around the rim of the disc label.

v  The disc labels have the ‘SOLD IN U.K…text. The labels are very clean with minor spindle marks.

v  The disc has its original ‘Use Emitex’ inner which is in EX- condition: fully intact with no seam splits.  This inner no longer houses the disc which is now kept in a new plain white inner to protect the disc and the original inner. Both inners will – of course - be supplied to the winner. Please see the scan where I am holding the disc in the original Use Emitex inner and see also the scans of the labels. 

v  The LP has been extremely well looked after and has been kept by me in a plastic sleeve for over 30 years which has ensured it has kept its amazingly fresh look.

Overall this is a GREAT EX example of the Beatles MONO RUBBER SOUL LP on Parlophone. This beautiful condition LP has been well looked after over the years as part of my personal collection: in particular the picture sleeve is one of the NICEST examples you could ever wish to see of this 1965 MONO pressing Beatles LP sleeve.
