Considered to be one of most INFLUENTIAL and ICONIC Albums of the 20th Century, this is an ORIGINAL 1968 UK Apple ** FIRST ISSUE STEREO** TWO Vinyl LP Set for The Beatles WHITE Album, entitled ‘The BEATLES’.

This HIGHLY IMPRESSIVE Set is 100% COMPLETE, with TWO ORIGINAL UK FIRST ISSUE STEREO VINYL LPs, Four ORIGINAL Full Colour GLOSSY PHOTOGRAPHS – one of each Beatle (It even has its ORIGINAL Protective Photo Spacer!), an ORIGINAL Large Format, Double Sided, Lyric POSTER printed by Garrod and Lofthouse, Two ORIGINAL MATT BLACK INNER BAGS. The set is housed within its ORIGINAL, First Issue, Fully Laminated TOP OPENING, NUMBERED GATEFOLD Sleeve, printed ‘Stereo’ to the top right hand corner of the reverse of the sleeve.

LP Description/Condition:

The TWO First Issue STEREO Vinyl LPs are on the traditional DARK GREEN Apple label, all bearing the ‘Sold in UK Subject to resale.…’, ‘An E.M.I. Recording’ and ‘Mfd. In UK’ label text to ALL four sides of the Two record labels. All four labels are printed ‘Stereo’.

All four record labels in VERY NICE excellent plus to near mint condition, LOVELY CLEAN, UNDAMAGED record labels, VIVID Black Print, showing only a couple of light centre spider trails to each side.

All 4 sides of the vinyl discs are in IMPRESSIVE STRONG EXCELLENT condition, nothing more than a few light surface hairlines. There are NO scuffs or deep scratches to any of the 4 sides. On side 2 of disc 1 there is a small white dot on track 3 Piggies, which can’t be removed, fortunately this little white dot does not effect the play quality of the track.

Disc 1, Side 1 matrix YEX 709-2 & Side 2: YEX 710-1.
Disc 1, Side 1 stampers: 2/GRG & Side 2 stampers are: 0/GOR.
Disc 2, Side 3 matrix: YEX 711-1 & Side 4: YEX 712-1.
Disc 2, Side 3 stampers: 4/LO & Side 4 stampers: 0/OP .

The TWO 12" Vinyl LPs come in their ORIGINAL Matt Black Die Cut Inner Bags which are in RESPECTABLE condition. They do have some inevitable mild creasing and tearing to the die- cut centres , and 1 of the bags has a couple of small seam splits.

….And are housed in an ORIGINAL, FULLY LAMINATED Garrod and Lofthouse GATEFOLD Sleeve. This FIRST ISSUE Sleeve is TOP OPENING and NUMBERED 0314195, printed to the lower portion of the front of the sleeve. ‘The word BEATLES’ is embossed a little way up above the number. The sleeve opens out to reveal black and white portraits of each of The Beatles together with the track listing. The top right hand corner of the reverse of the sleeve is printed ‘Stereo’.

The Original Fully Laminated Gatefold sleeve is in STRONG excellent condition. This is a BRIGHT, FIRM, and GLOSSY sleeve throughout, with only mild record indentation. The back panel is STRONG and UNDAMAGED, with only mild record indentation. The inner gatefold is in FIRM, UNDAMAGED excellent plus condition. The spine edge is FINE, NO laminate flaking, and the printed wording ‘The Beatles, Stereo PCS 7067-8, Mono PMC 7067-8‘ clearly readable. There is NO seam splitting to any of the edges, and only a very mild corner bruise to the bottom right hand corner .

There are Four ORIGINAL Full Colour GLOSSY PHOTOGRAPHS – one of each Beatle (It even has its ORIGINAL Protective Photo Spacer) - All four photos are all in UNDAMAGED near mint condition, NO pin holes to any of the corners. The Original Photo spacer shows some light creasing, but no tearing.

And an ORIGINAL Large Format, Double Sided, Lyric POSTER printed by Garrod and Lofthouse which is in nice EXCELLENT the poster shows a couple of small seam splits to the folds, but these are small.

Play Quality:

Having carefully played both LPs, all FOUR sides play EXTREMELY WELL throughout all the tracks. There are NO skips or clicks – A SUPERB listening experience.

In our Professional opinion, interest in ORIGINAL, COMPLETE examples of this ICONIC Beatles UK WHITE ALBUM release will continue to RISE, thereby increasing the longer term INVESTMENT POTENTIAL.
