The Beatles - ‘Help ! / I’m Down’. R 5305.
The Beatles 1969 UK pressing of the ’Help ! / I’m Down' 7” single. This is is an extremely rare variation of this single which has NO ‘SOLD IN UK….’ text but DOES HAVE ‘THE PARLOPHONE CO.LTD’ rim print. In theory this combination and therefore this label variation SHOULD NOT EXIST. The ’Sold in UK….’ text was removed in 1969 and ‘The Parlophone Co.Ltd’ rim print changed to ‘The Gramophone Co.Ltd’ in 1965. It comes housed within what I am 99% sure is the original white sleeve. A very rare variation in VERY GOOD+ condition.
The Matrix numbers are:
Side 1. 7XCE 18280-2: 15 ROM KT
Side 2. 7XCE 18281-2: 17 ROR KT
The vinyl is in VERY GOOD+ condition.
Both labels are in MINT- condition.
The sleeve is in EXCELLENT- condition.
