The Beatles - 'A Hard Day's Night' LP. PMC 1230
The Beatles 1969 4th UK stereo pressing of the 'A Hard Day's Night' LP. Originally released on the 10th July 1964, this 4th UK pressing (one EMI box) was only available for a very brief period in 1969 before the label design changed. Furthermore the LP is housed within a front laminated flip back sleeve which fails to states MONO or STEREO on the front. The area is simply left blank. Unusually the rear cover states both the MONO (PMC 1230) AND STEREO (PCS 3058) catalog numbers although this 1969 one box version of 'A Hard Day's Night' was ONLY available in stereo.
Released on the 'one EMI box' Parlophone label which was ONLY produced in 1969 the labels feature the 'The Gramophone Co Ltd....' rim print and 'Made in GT Britain' text. No 'KT' tax code is located anywhere on the labels or within the run out area. This comes FULLY complete with the correct sepia 'Patents Applied For' EMI advertising inner sleeve. The matrix numbers are the earliest possible and are identical to the 1964 UK 1st stereo pressing. This LP therefore contains the 1964 STEREO remix. This matrix was changed on all later 1970s and onwards versions.

Side 2. YEX 127-1 2 OA
The vinyl is in visually VERY GOOD/VERY GOOD+ condition.
Both labels are in EXCELLENT condition.
The sleeve is in VERY GOOD+ condition.
The inner sleeve is in VERY GOOD+ condition. Minor seem split to the bottom edge.
