PLEASE READ FIRST!
I'm having to make this even clearer as people are still buying records I'm grading low and as a 'collection filler', and then complain about the audio quality when they try to play them. As I do not own a record player I VISUALLY GRADE my records, so I cannotguarantee that discs will be click, skip and noise free (although any marks that may cause such problems will be highlighted in the description).
All photos are of the actual item on sale. I do not use stock or 'borrowed' images.

Original 1969 Dark Apple Export Press with 'Paper Back' Error!
On offer here is an original 1969 Dark Apple copy of the Beatles LP 'Hey Jude'. This is the UK export pressing with the catalogue number CPCS 106 that features the 'Paper Back' error on the label!
Hey Jude was originally issued in America in 1969. EMI in the UK also ran off a small number of copies specifically for export, giving the release it's own unique EMI catalogue number, but with a C prefix, indicating a Capitol release.
Now, these dark Apple export copies are, in themselves, very difficult to find (the vast majority of copies are on the later, light Apple label). However, two errors crept onto the label during production which were very swiftly spotted and corrected. Firstly, the song 'PAPERBACK WRITER' gained an erroneous space and became 'PAPER BACK WRITER' and the song 'REVOLUTION' gained an S, becoming 'REVOLUTIONS'. Like I said, these mistakes werre almost immediately spotted and corrected, but not until a tiny amount crept past quality control.
This particular copy has the 'Revolutions' error corrected but still has the 'Paper Back' error.

The cover is looking very decent and holding fine. Bottom seam and spine holding fine with no splits or tears, but a small split is on the top seam, a couple of inches or so long. There's some small creases around the edge of the front and back, but overall the sleeve is looking decent. Check out the photos below! Inner Sleeve Condition - Inserts Condition - Disc Condition(VISUALLY GRADED) The disc is in NM- condition. The disc has a phenomenally clean shine to it and nothing more than just some very faint, barely visible little scuffs here and there. I can barely see them! Beautiful condition! There are some light fingerprints that look like they could be professionally cleaned - I'll leave that up to the winning bidder. Label Condition The labels are in NM- condition. Both labels are clean with just a single, very light visible spindlemarks and pretty much zero whitening around the centrehole!
All records have been visually graded under a strong, 125W natural light desk lamp.

All LPs will be mailed out in a strong, corrugated cardboard LP mailing box with the LP outside the sleeve and extra
sheets of corrugated cardboard will be used where applicable.
My Vinyl Grading:
MINT No true preowned disc can be mint. The highest I will ever grade a disc is NM+/M- if it looks untouched and unplayed, but the MINT description will only be for records I personally know have never been played (i.e. I personally bought from new) or for copies that are still sealed. NEAR MINT (NM) For discs that look near flawless and which may have just the slightest, barely visible little whispy marks here and there. EXCELLENT (EX) For discs that still retain a brilliant, clean shine but does have some light scuffs here and there. VERY GOOD (VG) For discs that still look clean and have a nice shine to them, but do have a fair amount of light scuffmarks and/or some light scratches. GOOD (G) For discs that look like they have been loved and have a fair amount of scuffs and surface scratches. Not in terrible condition, but would look like it would play with a lot of crackle. FAIR (F) For discs that may have some life left in them but are pretty trashed with numerous surface scuffs and heavier scuffs and scratches etc POOR (P) For discs that are unplayable and look completely trashed. Discs like this would only ever be offered if they were insanely rare.price rating
