This auction is for a rare UK export copy of the Beatles LP 'Hey Jude'. This is the earlier pressing with the thicker-card sleeve and dark Apple labels.
Hey Jude was originally released in America in 1970, and EMI UK produced these copies specifically for export for foreign countries due to demand. These featured EMI / Parlophone catalogue numbers but with a C prefix at the start, indicating a Capitol release. These only had a very limited press run and, today, are highly collectible!
This particular pressing carries the rare "PAPER BACK WRITER" mistyping of the title on the label where an erroneous space crept into the word Paperback. This was soon corrected and the space was quickly removed.
Not in top condition, but still a rare record that would look great in any Beatles collection!

The cover is holding up okay but is showing some age and wear. The front has a good, rich colour to it and has some dirt buildup and some disc impression. There's laminate creases around the edges and a crease at the bottom right corner. Bit of rounding to the corners. Top and bottom seams are a little rubbed but holding tight with no wear or splitting. The spine has some little laminate creases running thorugh it but is holding tight with no splits and is fully legible. The back has some dirt buildup on the laminate anddisc impression. There's some creasing in the laminate aroudn the edges and at the bottom right corner. Like I say, holding up fine but showing some wear. Disc (Visually Graded Only!!) : GOOD-

The playing surface has a nice shine to it but there's a lot of light scuffing along with some slightly heavier looking scuffs and surface scratches. .

The labels are lookng okay but are a looking a little tired. There's no real damage, just some light spindlewear.
