 BEATLES

"LET IT BE" LP

ULTRA RARE

1970 FIRST UK PRESSING WITH THE

RED APPLE ON THE REAR COVER

EXCELLENT CONDITION VINYL

“Let it Be” was released on May 8 1970. It was originally released in the UK as part of a boxed set (PXS1) which included the LP (with a red Apple logo on the rear cover instead of the traditional green Apple logo), a paperback book and an outer box. Unfortunately, I no longer have the  box and book.

The labels are dark green, the catalogue number is PCS 7096 and the 1st pressing matrix numbers are YEX 773-2U & 774-2U. The vinyl is a glossy heavyweight pressing.

The PCS 7096 catalogue number appears on the spine but not on the rear of the cover. PXS1 did not appear anywhere on either the album or the box. Later pressings had green apple logos and the PCS 7096 catalogue number appeared on the rear cover.

Vinyl: Excellent - some whispy feathering/hairlines - mainly from being taken in and out of the sleeve. Plain white inner sleeve is excellent.

Cover: Non-gatefold fully laminated Garrod & Lofthouse cover is Excellent. No writings/doodles or seam splits.

Labels: Near Mint.

UK postage £3.50

EUROPE postage £5.50

REST OF THE WORLD postage £7.50

Mint - The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality.

Excellent - The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality.

Very Good - The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch.

Good - The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches.

Fair - The record is still just playable but has not been cared for properly and displays considerable surface noise, it may even jump.

Poor - The record will not play properly due to scratches, bad surface noise, etc

Bad - The record is unplayable or might even be broken, and is only of use as a collection filler.
