This auction is for a rare, original pressing of the Beatles LP 'Let It Be'. This has the earlier Red Apple logo on the back of the cover.
The 'Red Apple' logo copies were originally bundled in with the Let It Be box set and, by the time the LP was released as a standalone disc, the last remaining Red Apple sleeves were used before the far more common Green Apple sleeves came into use. Today, the Red Apple sleeves are very difficult to find!
A beautiful example of this very hard to find LP!

The cover is holding up really nicely bar for one 3" split in the middle of the top seam. The front is clean with a great laminate shine and just a little laminate rubbing and light disc impression. There are a couple of little creases running around the edges. The top seam, as I said, is holding but has a 3" tidy seam split in the middle. Bottom seam is holding perfectly. Spine is holding perfect with no splits, tears etc and is fully legible with just a couple of little creases running through it. Back cover, like the front, is very clean with just a little rubbing on the laminate and a hint of disc impression. Overall, looking very nice! If it wasn't for the seam split on the top seam this cover would have been an easy EX++! Disc (Visually Graded Only!!) : EX+
The playing surface has a wonderfully crisp, clean shine to it and doesn't look like it's been played much at all! There's just some very light, faint scuffing in places, mostly on the side 2 playing surface, that bring the grading down a little. Overall, though, the disc is looking beautiful!
The labels are looking near-perfect with no writing, tears, stickers etc. There's just a little, very faint spindlewear on the side 2 label (pretty much none on the side 1 label) and pretty much no whitening around the centrehole. Top labels!.
