The Beatles - ‘Let It Be’. PCS 7096
On offer here is a very rare MISPRESSING from Apple/EMI. We have a 1970 pressing of the ‘Let It Be’ album with an ‘Abbey Road’ label attached on side one in error. The side two is the correct ‘Let It Be’ label. Both labels are the dark Apple variation from 1969 and 1970 respectively. Both matrix numbers are of the ‘Let It Be’ album (see below).
It is really quite unusual and rare to find an album pressed in error such as this due to EMI having very strict quality controls in place during this time.
The vinyl is housed within the original 1970 laminated sleeve and Apple Records inner sleeve. Both are very nice examples in EXCELLENT- condition. A real talking point and Apple rarity. When will you find another?
The Matrix numbers are:
Side 1. YEX 773-2U 16 GPR
Side 2. YEX 774-3U 24 RHG
The vinyl is in VERY GOOD++ condition.
The labels are in MINT- condition.
The sleeve is in EXCELLENT- condition.
The inner sleeve is in EXCELLENT- condition. I will include an additional sleeve to protect the original.
