The Beatles "Yesterday and Today" MONO T-2553 2nd State Butcher Cover.
Cover is still in shrink wrap!!! Some foxing, small seam split to top left of spine from corner about 3", some damage to the bottom edge, otherwise cosmetically perfect. Ringo's shirt from the butcher cover underneath clearly visible as a black triangle. Also, the number on the top right of the cover is sloppily pasted over confirming butcher cover underneath. RIAA number on back is a 3 which I think means it was from the Scranton Plant. Original orange Capital inner sleeve included. Record is conservativley graded in sunlight at a VG+, probably more like a VG++ with VERY few light fine scratches. This album is almost impossible to find in this condition. You will not be dissapointed. I believe this to be an excellent candidate for paste-over removal, but as more people remove paste-overs sometimes poorly, the value of these un-peeled ones are going up so you decide. Very low reserve, well under $500 (I hate to do it, but don't want to risk it).
