This is a very nice copy of the infamous "Butcher" cover; cover is in great condition with no split seams, very minimal ring wear; has a small applied sticker on the upper right corner that says "22" as seen in pictures. There is a small ink scribble on the back side of cover as seen in pictures. On the lower left corner there is a piece of the trunk cover that has been lifted/torn away, about 1 1/2" long x about 5/8" wide; Butcher cover is not damaged. Don't think this was an attempt to peel, but looks more like the corner caught when being slid in/out of a record case. (Has been kept standing vertically on bottom edge in a case all these years.) Colors are nice and bright, and oh, yeah--this is a stereo copy ST-2553. Don't know how to grade records, but I would say the album is in very good condition. Have posted lots of pictures on this LP but please email with any questions and I'll send more info. This album is part of a collection that was purchased at a moving sale from an older English woman who said she had been a huge fan of The Beatles but not really an album collector. When she was young, she spent time in both America and England and said she bought each of the albums the first day they were released. I will be listing many more Beatle albums over the next week or so, watch for new ones each night--will combine winning auctions to save on shipping costs.
